I have been tweeting for 13 years, and my most popular tweet was one of a “sheep-pig” - long since archived by Twitter.
It’s hard to tell what resonates with people - this year we have some humour and observations on WHERE we work for some reason. With some emerging work tech too… As we come to the end of 2021, here are my 10 most popular tweets this year.
#10 - There’s much excitement about the 4-day week, but…

Much excitement about bringing in the 4-day week.
But this comes from the same prescriptive and constraining thinking as erm....the 5-day week.
It might work for some, but we need to radically rethink work in the digital-covid age...

WFH is onerous on the poor who struggle to pay for the extra space.
Firms would have to pay remote workers in the bottom decile of household earnings an extra 10-15% to compensate them fully for their increased housing costs...
